Hello G-A community!

The 2019 Old Home Week pageant is entitled “Hometown Memories.” The show will be presented at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, August 6 and 7, at Greencastle-Antrim High School. (This is a half hour earlier than in other years).

Patti Divelbiss and I have been busy the past three years to get ready for this event! Now it is your turn to join in the fun. We need actors for both speaking and non-speaking roles. Every spot is important. If you receive a speaking character, we ask that you can talk loud enough to be heard by the entire audience, even if you don’t get to use a microphone.

Rehearsals begin June 17, and will be held Mondays and Thursdays up until show time. We will skip the week of July 4. The day of the week you will attend depends on the scene you are in. Each rehearsal is 30 minutes, between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium.

Dress rehearsals for everyone will be Thursday and Monday, August 1 and 5 at 7 p.m. The band and chorus will be present, too.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during practices.

If you would like to be in the pit band, call Brock Bricker at 717-377-7016.

Casting will begin May 15, so sign up as soon as possible.

You will be contacted by a director and get instructions on what to do next! We hope everyone who is interested is able to participate in the pageant. It really depends on the response.
