Allison-Antrim Museum Open House

The museum house and 1860s German Bank Barn are air conditioned.  The barn has ADA accessible bathrooms,

Special Exhibits:  “Guns & Roses” – A collection of rare guns made by mid-1800s, Greencastle gunsmith Joshua Yous & wedding gowns (1786 is the earliest) from the museum’s collection and from friends of the museum.   In addition, the late Katty Grosh’s collection of Old Home Week ribbons and programs will be displayed.  See Phillip Baer’s grand piano and tuxedo.

A Bus Tour of Community Points of Interest.


Space is limited.  Seating will be on first come-first served.basis.  Buses begin loading at 12:40 pm and will leave promptly at 1:00 pm from the front of Greencastle Elementary School located at 500 E Leitersburg St (parking available), and return to the school at approximately 4:00 pm.

Areas visited: Ebenezer United Brethren Church, Truck Mounts, Mrs Gibbles Restaurant and Candies, Hurley's Auction, and Greencastle Water Treatment.
